It is hard to say what was actually going on, but everybody had something to say. So many witnesses and too many different stories. At this point who could say what was right and what was wrong. Today it is called alternative truths. But I was there and I know what happened.
Remember the game we played as children, whispering a message into the next persons ear. We all laughed when we heard the last person repeat it out loud, because we knew it was wrong. They were wrong, but each of us was relieved that we weren’t the last person telling the tale. To that poor kid last standing repeating the message, it was their truth. How could they be wrong?
Each of us at the start of the process, took a deep breath relieved that our part was completed. We are laughing now relieved that it was just a game.
